  need to know about WATER! You will learn basic terminology around water
 , floods, and coverage. Once the basics are reviewed, Melanie will delve
  into the policy wording of a homeowners policy, sewer back-up, and over
 land water and flood. At the conclusion of this webinar you will be comf
 ortable with the peril of water and will be able to confidently explain

 , FCIP, CRM\n\n \n\nMelanie has over 18 years experience in the insuran
 ce industry and has held various positions including Underwriting, Risk 
 Management and Business Strategy Analyst. Although Melanie currently own
 s her own consulting firm she was a corporate trainer and developer for 
 a large national company for 10 years and prior to that she was a named 
 underwriter with Lloyds of London. Melanie’s true expertise is in comm
 ercial and specialty lines however she also teaches the RIBO/Agent licen
 sing course as well as CIP courses across Canada and has a strong unders
 tanding of the broker’s role and how to make them successful.\n\nMelan
 ie was awarded the Instructor of the year award through the Insurance In
 stitute of Ontario numerous times and in 2011 was awarded the national E
 merging Leader award through the Insurance Institute of Canada.
