Roundtable Discussion with Aviva

IBAN Members, please join us on December 3 for a roundtable discussion with Mr. Gordon Murray, Vice-President, Broker Distribution Atlantic, Aviva Canada. 

Gordon Murray has over 39 years of industry experience. Upon graduation from NBCC in 1981 he accepted a position with Wawanesa Mutual Insurance Company as an Underwriter, in Calgary AB. Initially in Personal Lines, evolving into Commercial Lines. In 1983, Gordon returned to the Moncton area and accepted a position with Wawanesa in their Commercial Lines Department. In 1986 he moved to Economical Mutual Insurance Company, where he held positions in underwriting, marketing and management, ultimately moving to Halifax in 1997 where he served as the Branch Manager for over 7 years. Gordon joined Aviva Canada Inc. in 2004 as Regional Manager and currently serves as Vice-President, Broker Distribution for the Atlantic Region.

There will be discussions around Aviva's product line, and new trends in the industry.  We will also open the floor for a Q&A. This session is geared towards personal lines brokers in Newfoundland & Labrador.

Our moderator for the discussion will be Mr. Kent Rowe, President, Insurance Brokers Association of Canada (IBAC)
