Roundtable Discussion with Intact

IBAN Members, please join us on December 10 for a roundtable discussion with Mr. Keith Flynn, Regional Branch Director/Director of Finance and Ms. Alison O'Hanley, Personal Lines Manager from Intact.

Keith Flynn was born and raised in Newfoundland and Labrador and is a lifelong resident of the province.  He obtained a Bachelor Commerce degree from Memorial University of Newfoundland in 2005 and subsequently obtained his Chartered Accountant designation while working for an accounting firm in St. John’s.  In early 2009, Keith was hired by Metro General Insurance as their Chief Financial Officer.  He remained in this role until March of 2014, when Intact acquired Metro General.  Keith spent the next year and a half working as a member of the integration team.  Since the completion of the Integration Keith has been in the role of Regional Branch Director, most recently adding Director of Finance to his accountabilities.  In his spare time, Keith can be found cheering on the Raptors, playing basketball and doing anything related to the outdoors.    

Alison O’Hanley is currently a Personal Lines Manager at Intact Insurance managing the territories of New Brunswick and Newfoundland.     Alison began her career in Insurance in 1983 working for a broker in Ottawa and then moved back to her hometown of Saint John, NB and started working for Kent General Insurance in the personal lines department where she moved into a leadership position after many acquisitions through to her current position at Intact.    Has her CIP designation along with completing many other leadership courses throughout her Insurance career.  

There will be discussions around Intact's product line, and new trends in the industry.  We will also open the floor for a Q&A. This session is geared towards personal lines brokers in Newfoundland & Labrador.

Our moderator for the discussion will be Mr. Kent Rowe, President, Insurance Brokers Association of Canada (IBAC)
