The Canadian Accredited Insurance Broker (CAIB) program is a professional development course of study designed and written specifically for insurance brokers by insurance brokers.

The program will enable you to expand your general insurance knowledge, develop new sales markets and enhance your opportunity for career advancement. CAIB boasts four levels of study pertaining to personal lines, commercial lines, and broker management skills.

Students must complete all four modules and be working for a member broker in order to use the designation. For further information regarding designation use, please refer to the IBAC Terms of Reference

CAIB 1

Topics include:

Method of Study: self-study and in class. IBAN is different from both IBANS and IBANB in that we do not offer courses by immersion.
Cost: IBAN Members: $565+HST , Non-Members: $710+HST. Registration cost is the same for either method of study.
What’s included: textbook, study guide, resource guide, access to online tutorials and exam fee

CAIB 2
